Best Tom Yum soup and Kai Krob Kraplao (hard to find!) my wife and I ever had. They adjust the spice level to your preference and make an amazing Thai Iced Tea too.
Hidden restaurant in Newton Center. Delicious and authentic thai cuisine.
Good food but very difficult to park
amazing food and service with a huuuuuuge menu, I just wish they had a bathroom but thats beyond their power, definitely the best Thai restaraunt in the Boston area
Good Thai food.
I have ordered take out from here plenty of times and have never been disappointed. Taste has always been on the spot!
Food was enjoyable and tasty. That's all I want from a restaurant.
I ate here multiple times. The food is really good and authentic. The people that work here are so friendly and very clean!
Tried this place yesterday and it is excellent!! Amazing food and fresh ingredients. I had the coconut soup & drunken noodles with shrimp and actually went back again today just for more of the soup it’s that good. Very reasonably priced too and friendly staff.
Great food.
Authentic and comfortable
Tasty and quality food. Was turned on to them by a good friend. I have eaten there 4-5 times already. Highly recommended the Indonesian Rice. But I take customer service seriously as I am a business owner and treat all my customers with care and respect no matter what. I ordered my food which totaled $25.00. As I was waiting for the meal to be prepared I asked for a glass of water as they are also a dine in restaurant with wait service. As the girl at the front was tending to my request a straight faced man poked his head out from behind the curtain between the counter and the kitchen and asked me if I had placed an order as if he was going to deny my request for water if I had not placed a food order. Take it as to will. I took it as disrespectful. That rude move cost them 2 stars from me. But other than that a decent and prompt service usually. I will continue to visit them. But If that happens again I will not respond with kindness again. (Note to staff).
I enjoyed a late night meal here. The people were friendly and my Pad Thai was delicious. I would highly recommend the Coconut Cafe, the location is ideal for lonely Boston evening commuters.
Nice 😎💯
I adore this place very much. It has a unique spirit. The meals are great. the service is efficient and the waiters are very professional. The price is decent. extremely recommend.
One of my preferred spots to grab something to eat. very good location, well kept, and awesome customer service. I highly recommend them!
Flavors were on-point and technique was also good. Ingredient quality was good. Would go again.
This place is the one I like best. I visit many restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The stuff is very warm and the food they cook is so good. I never miss an opportunity to have a good meal in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Best spot to eat something when in a hurry. Their customer service is speedy, prices are fair, great vibes. Will come visit again
Delicious food, nice ubication, the parking is on the street.
We order in almost every week and it's always amazing. And eating there is even better, even if it's not that fancy. Try the Pad See Ew.
First time ordering from this place and it was terrible . I ordered Thai wings and it was basic fried chicken , no nothing on it 🙄😒. Ordered spring rolls as well , those were ok . Other than that I will never go back .. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️Y’all have to do better
Two times in a row i order curry fried rice and they prepare basil fried rice... Two times in a row after double checking with the waitress. Should i go to the kitchen next time to make sure you don't mess up my order?Except that food is good but you have to learn how to take orders correctly.
The lunch sets are perfect portion sizes (see pic) and good price ~$10. You get to pick a small app (I got spring rolls) and a main dish (got yellow curry). Super tiny inside only like 4 tables so be aware of that! The staff were really nice to me each time I went!
Excellent food. Decent prices. My kids love the chicken noodle soup in the big giant bowl.
Best Thai food in the Boston area, more of a pick spot, but they do have few tables, parking is usual for Newton center.
I have waited really long and i am not satisfied with the service...
Coconut Cafe is one of my favorites. It does get crowded on the weekend - so be prepared to potentially have to squeeze, but totally worth it. The pad thai is delicious and they have a very extensive menu.
Friendly delicious.
Beautiful food! Affordable prices
As authentic as it gets in the US. Curries are good, but your palate will be highly rewarded by trying something else from their extensive menu.
Very tasty!! Great food. Delivery slow, but it’s not their fault. Very good. Have had takeout from there 10+ times.
Cheap, clean, tasty
Great food at resonable prices. It is a tiny place.
Love the food here. Thai sauces are great. Noticed that potion sizes have shrunk a bit but prices are decent. ❤
I really liked my Indonesian fried rice and the peices of chicken on top. I also really like the giant mural too. I really liked these vegetable patties that where really good, the texture where very savory. I also liked the the chicken on top of the fried rice cause it wassuper crispy. The soft shell crab tasted like the ocean. I also liked the beverage such as the the mago juice, a little sugary though.
Tasty food and a cozy atmosphere. This place is great; the food strikes the right balance between between being comforting without being unhealthy. Plenty of great vegetarian options.
Really good and cheap Thai food. Basil fried rice was particularly nice.
Sadly, the coconut recently changed ownership. The menu has changed and some recipes have changed. It's not the same. The end of an era.
New ownership. Order from them twice... Not the same anymore! Well not order from them anymore. Sad.
Let's put it this way if I was on death row and they told me that I could have one last meal what would it be? I would ask for garlic fried rice from this place because it is to die for!
The staff can be curt and rude, especially during peak hours. The food is usually great, but the quality isn't always consistent. I've gotten some really bland takeout from here, although my dine in experiences have all been good.
Fantastic food! We have ordered from here at least a dozen times and have yet to find anything we don't like. They also don't use styrofoam at all for take out containers.
A cozy hole in the wall kind of place, but delicious food. I got the garlic fried rice and it was huge. I took half home for lunch, but it didn't make it past breakfast
Excellent place to buy food when in a hurry. The customer service is prompt, pricing is convenient, excellent character. I highly recommend this place
Low key neighborhood spot punching above its weight. Put any of these dishes on a fancy plate and i would pay 3x the price at a high-end Thai restaurant in Boston.
Awesome and delightful food, I like the character this spot has, and the workers were welcoming. I will surely eat here again.
Good food but be careful ordering online. Our order came almost an hour late. Owner states they take a break from 3:30 to 4:30 and did very little to correct the situation.
A tiny no-frills place with delicious food. Tasty and not too heavy or sweet. A great option in Newton Centre.
I really liked their foods. Yam yam
